Hola!
another friend of mine's dad has been very ill..so waiting on her situation....he has been on dialysis for years and she had to get him there at 5 30 this morn..the snow has caused so many problems in different ways for so many...

My boys feline and sometimes human one too..keep me laughing..fishing with my bro is ALWAYS a laughfest...playing srabble with 2 certain other friends makes me need depends..laughter is good and this winter has just been so tense...so I am declaring a personal moratorium on beeyotching...Lord knows I have been doing enough of it...
I have to get some new catshots...Watty is the smartest and most bossy animal I have seen...his battles with Archie could be youtube hits...

I know what you mean about their antics being Utube hits. yeserday Abby decided she needed my nail file so took off running through the house with it. loves socks, dirty or clean, she doesn't care. she always brings them to me, guess she is proud and needs to show me how well she can "hunt". such a nut case.
Hoping for some sun today as we are planning to go the the BW and the Aquarium.
Therese, is there anything new regarding Haliegh? I haven't had a chance to check up on it. Would love to know what the new evidence is against CA. The last I heard the Prosecution was keeping mum about it, must be big.

Hi Carol..I left a link on the last thread that gave some info...hard to follow but best I can tell no new tapes released from the jail lately...almsot 13 months...
Well it sounds like you have a lovely day planned...still assessing exterior damage here and working thru the SNOW....started this earlier but lots to do so far today

Speaking of Misty..I am so tired of dopey NG saying "SECRET JAILHOUSE TAPES ! she knows full well they aren't secret and so does Misty! BTW wonder when NG deposition in Duckett case is going to be aired? she lost her battle of having it remain secret! What's good for the goose...

Home....but not a good home coming..
High School friends daughter (27) was found dead of a gun shot...just moved into a beautiful home....1 year anniv was valentines day...my brother and her dad went to penn state together....and his wife and I were close friends...she was a nurse ...omg...I just don't know how they can deal with this..her husband of a yr called 911 at 5 in morning....that she was dead...sounds like he might of done it....how could any parent deal with this.....

Kris OMG how terrible !!! My heart goes out to you, her famly and friends. Were there domestic violence issues in the past? Any signs of forced entry? I am so sick of hearing about these sensless attacks by these manaics ! My thoughts are prayers are with you and her family

At this time they are just saying it was a homicide..it just sounds really odd that the husband called the death in...they are not saying any more...did he work at night..I don't know...maybe he came home and found her..otherwise why would he not be shot if it was a home invasion...they just bought a beautiful home and had just moved in...it is such a mystery right now...oh I cannot imagine having this happen to one of my children....just heart breaking...

I am not sure what they mean by just because it is considered a homicide that it doesn't mean there is criminal intent...
it states:
Conner issued a statement Monday evening that her cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the right chest. He defined homicide as "death at the hands of another person."

Yes our paper had about the same thing..I have never heard that phrase before....I thought it might have been suicide until I read that....so what happened???

Yes..our paper had almost the same thing..I thought at first it "might" have been suicide..but now I am confused....never heard that phrase before..maybe they are waiting till after the funeral to make a final report...I just don't know

No, did not know her husband...I know her dad used to tell me she went through some trying times as a teen....that he wished she would figure out what she wanted to do with her life...but I did not know her husband

Kris....how terribly sad..so sorry for everyone who knew and loved her..been reading her guest book and the articles...not many comments directed at her husband? ...most addressed to her parents and brother...hmmm
as to the seeming doublespeak..criminal intent--could she have been "fighting" with someone and they shot her in self defense---I don't THINK that is what happened but just thinking out loud...just such a tragedy..

Haven't met to be MIA but dealing with replacing the gutters, replacement windows and electrical issues and hopefully by Friday, things will be moving along...just takes a lot of time to get estimates and am grateful my contractor/friend is guiding me here...UGH...
